On Saturday, thousands of people lined up at the Fresno Fairgrounds to get help enrolling. Dozens of certified counselors were there to help individuals and families sign up for low-cost or no-cost health insurance plans.
The California Endowment hosted this We Connect event. It also offered basic medical and dental screenings, plus a healthy food giveaway and free bike repair.
Monday, March 31, is the end of open enrollment as part of the Affordable Care Act.
