A pickup truck towing a trailer was on the connector ramp from southbound Highway 41 to southbound 99 when the trailer became unhitched. It then fell off the overpass onto the connector from northbound 41 to northbound 99.
If it wasn't for the guard rail, officers say the trailer would have landed on the northbound lanes of Highway 99, potentially causing injuries.
No one was hurt in the accident, but the driver was found at fault for not properly securing the trailer.
