Authorities say the shooting happened a little after midnight at an alley near First and Clinton. Police say they responded to the area after getting reports of shots fired. When they arrived, authorities say they found the body of a man who had been shot in the chest.
The coroner's office has now identified the victim as Phillip Poe, 42, of Fresno. Police found his body in an alley near First and Clinton early Friday morning. Poe had been shot in the chest.
Detectives are still searching for possible suspects.
