Celebrate Earth Day at the zoo or go egg-hunting this weekend

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- It's going to be a nice weekend to spend some time with friends and family.

PAW PATROL LIVE

This one is just for the kids.

This weekend Paw Patrol Live is in Fresno.

It's Pirate Day in Adventure Bay and Ryder will need all paws on deck as he and the PAW Patrol discover a secret treasure map while on a mission to rescue one of their buddies.

The show starts at 6 and ticket prices vary.

EARTH DAY AT THE ZOO

The Fresno Chaffee Zoo is hosting a party for the planet to celebrate Earth Day.

This educational event will feature organizations around the Valley that are making a difference for our world.

Vendors will have a variety of demonstrations and activities to educate guests about conservation issues and topics.

OBSTACLE COURSE RACING

Are you ready for an obstacle challenge of EPIC proportions?

EPIC Series is the next generation of obstacle course racing that combines functional cross-training and traditional obstacle course racing elements.

Athletes of all ability levels can conquer this course.

The race starts at 7 on Friday.

5K BUBBLE RUN

If you don't want to take on obstacles you can always head to the Fresno Fairgrounds for the 5K Bubble Run.

It's like running through Willy Wonka's factory.

At each kilometer, participants will run through colorful foam where there is enough to cover you from head to toe!

The run starts at 8 am.

EASTER EGG HUNT

This Saturday, head to Storyland with the kiddos for an Easter egg hunt.

Don't forget to bring the Easter baskets.

It's going to be a fun-filled day with egg hunts, games, arts, stories and more!

Plus, Mother Goose will be all dressed up.
