Fresno church burglarized, again
Members of Refinery East Church are trying to recover losses from their second break-in in just one month.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Members of a southeast Fresno Church are trying to recover losses from their second break-in in just one month.

Thieves targeted the Refinery East Church Wednesday night taking all of their large appliances. A stove, dishwasher and freezer were ripped out of a side building which is in the process of being turned into a community center.

Just one month ago, the shed behind the building was ransacked as well.

So, costs to repair the home just keep adding up. "We're a smaller congregation so it's hard for them to raise this type of money," Pastor Jesse Sanchez explained "So, everything that comes in and the work that they put in and things go missing. It's frustrating."

The church has set up a GoFundMe account to raise money, but just earlier Friday they got a big donation of a freezer.

If you'd like to help with renovations, they are also looking for volunteers.
