FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Police are investigating a shooting that injured a young girl near Church and Elm avenues in Southwest Fresno.
The five-year-old girl had a bandage on her head when first responders took her to Community Regional Medical Center. We're told a bullet grazed the little girl's cheek. She is not critically injured and is expected to survive.
Investigators says witnesses aren't cooperating and there is little to no information on what a possible motive was in this shooting.
When ABC30 talked to neighbors they were all too scared to talk on camera. They say gang activity is rampant in their neighborhood.
