CHP probes deadly crash in Central Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The California Highway Patrol investigating a deadly crash in Central Fresno.

Officers say the victim somehow drove off Highway 99 near Olive Avenue. The car hit a light pole before coming to a stop near the parkway on-ramp. The accident was reported around 7:30 a.m. Sunday.

Authorities have not released any details about the driver or a possible cause.
