65-year-old man shot and killed in Parlier
The Fresno County Coroner's Office has identified a man who died after being shot early Friday morning in Parlier.

PARLIER, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Fresno County Coroner's Office has identified a man who died after being shot early Friday morning in Parlier.

Neighbors reported hearing gunfire just after 4:30 a.m. near Merced and K streets. When Parlier police arrived, they found Luis Alberto Cruz, 65, lying in a driveway with multiple gunshots wounds. Paramedics rushed him to a Selma hospital, where he died. Police then turned the case over to the sheriff's homicide unit.

An armed person was reportedly seen leaving the area in a silver compact car, possibly a Hyundai or a Kia. Investigators continue to interview witnesses to try and develop more information about the suspect.
