Madera school mechanic injured after being run over by bus

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A mechanic is in the hospital after he was run over by a school bus he was working on, police say.

The incident happened just before 6 a.m. Thursday at the Madera Unified transportation yard. The Madera Police Department says the employee was working on the bus when it rolled on top of him. He was rushed to community regional medical center.

The man's condition is not known.
