2015 World Ag Expo kicks off Tuesday
Everything has to look perfect before the start of the 2015 World Ag Expo.

TULARE, Calif. (KFSN) -- Everything has to look perfect before the start of the 2015 World Ag Expo. Monday was spent cleaning, organizing and finalizing booth setups.

Future OPS is an irrigation company working with Motorola. They have software that monitors irrigation for farmers.

"So let's say the weather on that day is lots of rain or even moisture in the air is at a high percentage, our system will automatically adjust all operations," said Jordan Hirschman with Future OPS Motorola Irrigation.

Monday was also awards day. Each year the top 10 new products in the industry are announced. They also announced the winner of the World Ag Expo Video Contest. This year's winners happen to be from Visalia.

"People from the Valley really understand what our farmers do for us," said Scott Sargeant with Revolvier Films.

Sargeant and Brian Keith created a film called "Where Would We Be Without Farmers?" Their movie featured local farmers and was created as a thank you.

"If we don't have some appreciation for the people who are doing it, what does that say about us as a society," said Keith.

They beat out competition from around the world. They say winning this award is a dream come true.

"For us it's an honor to be associated with the Ag show. We live here, the farm show has been part of our growing up, we've attended in years past," said Keith.

With setup completed, everyone is ready for thousands to come through the gates.
