Bicyclist in critical condition after being hit by car in Clovis

CLOVIS, Calif. (KFSN) -- All lanes of Peach and Shaw are now open after being closed for more than five hours as Clovis police officers investigated a crash.

The investigation began after a vehicle and a bike collided in the roadway in Clovis just before 4 p.m. Sunday afternoon.

The bicyclist is now in the hospital in critical condition. The bicyclist suffered head trauma and a broken hip in the accident.

The driver of the vehicle is cooperating with investigators.
