Car crashes into power pole in Northeast Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- PG&E crews have just arrived on the scene of a car that crashed into a power pole near Gettysburg and Blackstone.

The accident happened around 3:30 Tuesday morning. Police and PG&E have closed the road. They're trying to find out how to replace the pole that is just hanging by wires.

Officials say the woman driving the car was not hurt. They say it is unlikely drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.

If you travel in the area along Gettysburg near Blackstone, expect delays.
