FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A teenager is facing DUI charges after Fresno police say he crashed into a house on Sunday night.

Officers were called to the area of Whitesbridge and Fruit avenues in Southwest Fresno just before 7 p.m. They say the 18-year-old drove through the gate, into the yard, and hit the front pillars of the house. No one was home at the time, and the teen wasn't injured, but his car also had major damage.

The suspect tried to hide his face after officers arrested him. Witnesses say he may have been street racing before the crash, but investigators are still looking into that. They do believe speed and alcohol were factors in why he lost control of the vehicle.
