Fire damages Sanger home, displaces at least 1

SANGER, Calif. (KFSN) -- A house fire in Sanger has left at least one person displaced. A viewer captured a photo of the smoke rising over a neighborhood at Greenwood and Sequoia avenues around 9:30 a.m. Sunday.

Firefighters say the homeowner smelled that smoke and realized his car somehow went up in flames, and the garage was engulfed. The fire spread to the kitchen before crews could put it out.

There's no word yet on the dollar amount of the damage or the cause.
