FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A Fowler man was arrested after investigators said he stole a taxi cab.

Rudy Solano, 55, faces multiple felony charges. Thursday afternoon, Fresno County sheriff's deputies said he pulled up to a Selma orchard in the stolen cab, threatening field workers that he had a gun.

Once Solano was caught, investigators found that the taxi was indeed stolen from the Amtrak station in Downtown Fresno earlier in the day. It was returned to its rightful owner.

Solano was combative while being booked into jail, earning him an extra charge of battery on a corrections officer.
