Fresno man shot in thigh after apparent Bulldog gang-related fight

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- One man was shot in the thigh after what may have been a Bulldog gang fight late Thursday afternoon.

It happened at around 4:30 p.m. right next to Yokomi Elementary School at the intersection of Grant and Thesta.

Witnesses tell police they saw a fight between two groups of men break out in the street.

Shortly after reports of shots fired, police learned one of the men was brought to CRMC by his girlfriend. Police say he was uncooperative, claiming he was walking home from a taco truck when he was shot.

Witnesses also told police three of the men ran into an upstairs apartment nearby.

Police searched the apartments, but did not find any additional victims or evidence.
