FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Two Fresno women were booked into jail after police made a strange discovery behind their home on Friday.
Police say they found a stolen car buried in the backyard of a house on Iowa near Jackson in Southeast Fresno. Officers say the suspects were using its parts to fix an Acura that was parked nearby. Investigators say they also found several pot plants growing in the yard.
The two homeowners, identified as Sangdeoun Keonhothy, 24, and Siriphone Oumano, 32, were found parked down the street. Police say they arrested both suspects for cultivating marijuana and possession of a stolen vehicle.
