FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Three people are facing charges after Fresno Police say they beat and car jacked a woman who was with her kids.

The 21-year-old victim says she was tricked into meeting the suspects at a store near Lewis and Fresno Street on Wednesday. She tried driving away but the suspects chased her in another car. The suspect threw bricks at the woman's car, then rammed her near Clay and Recreation where she says the suspects beat her with a metal pipe.

A family member of the victim happened to be in the area and was able to grab her two young kids from the car before the suspects stole it. The children were not hurt.

Investigators used a signal from the woman's cell phone to track the car. Jazmen Hernandez, 21, was arrested a few miles away along with a 16-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy. A fourth suspect got away. Police say the three arrested are Bulldog gang members.
