Reckless driver disappears after leading authorities in high-speed chase

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A dangerous driver led officers and sheriff's deputies on a chase overnight in Selma.

Authorities say they started chasing the suspect after seeing some erratic driving, and Fresno County Sheriff's Deputies joined the pursuit.

The driver went into an orchard just north of Indianola Elementary School and disappeared, but left the car behind.

Investigators followed the footprints, but never found the suspect.
