Survey USA poll asked Fresno area residents to weigh in on Trump remarks

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A new and exclusive Action News poll, conducted by Survey USA, asked people in the Fresno area about Donald Trump's call for a temporary shutdown of Muslims entering the US.

Thirty-Eight-Percent responded that they "strongly agree" with Trump. Twenty-one-Percent said they "somewhat agree", 12-Percent "somewhat disagree, and 29-percent responded -- they "strongly disagree".

Our poll also asked if peaceful followers of Islam have done enough to denounce the violent followers of Islam? Twelve-Percent said "they have done enough", 73-percent responded -- they "should do more", and 14-Percent answered 'not sure."
