Assault on employee at Fresno's Wishon Elementary School

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Police are looking for a man who assaulted an employee at an elementary school in Central Fresno. The incident happened Thursday morning at Wishon Elementary on Harvard Avenue near 8th Street.

Investigators released surveillance video showing the man running onto the campus. They say he went into the front office and began yelling at staff. A male employee confronted the man. Police say the worker directed the unidentified man into the school hallway. And that's when the worker was assaulted -- shoved by the man.

School staff was quick to lock up the front gates as soon as he left campus. If you recognize him you're asked to call Fresno police.
