Kate Nemarich
Before coming to Fresno, Kate worked as a reporter at WJHL in Johnson City, Tennesee, where she covered severe flooding, elections, and a high-profile missing child case.
Kate began her news career as a producer working in both New Orleans and Wilmington, North Carolina. During her time producing, she covered major events such as the 2016 and 2020 presidential elections, the historic 2020 hurricane season, and much more.
Although she's spent her career moving around the country, Kate was born and raised in Annapolis, MD. Kate's passion for storytelling first took her to the stage in high school and college. She attended the University of North Carolina Wilmington majoring in Performance Theater and Broadcast Journalism.
In her free time, she enjoys running, hiking, visiting wineries, traveling and trying local coffee shops and restaurants. She is excited to explore all Central California has to offer.
