Man shot in front of Porterville school

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Authorities in Porterville are investigating a shooting that left a man injured Friday night. The shooting happened around 8:40 p.m. on E Street and Morton Avenue -- in front of Belleview Elementary School.

Porterville police say the man suffered a non-life threatening wound. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

So far, no arrests have been made. No suspect description has been released.
