Organizers say nearly 1,000 families signed up for help this year - for a total of about 8,000 children.
Once inside, Yosemite High School cheerleaders helped other volunteers find pre-packed bags for each family.
Organizers say the set-up was different this year, to keep the line moving.
"Last year, we basically had the toys where we had them in rows. And we would try to match a toy with a child. Which, I don't know if you've had to do that, it becomes very very difficult," said Michelle Alexander.
This year, the need for toys was up, while donations were down.
Still, they were able to give toys to all the families who requested help.
