Earthquake hits off coast of Hermosa Beach

A 3.6-magnitude earthquake hit about three miles off the coast of Hermosa Beach early Monday morning, jolting parts of Southern California.

The quake hit just after 2:15 a.m. and was about 8 miles deep.

ABC7 viewers in Redondo Beach, Carson, Hawthorne, Inglewood and Westwood reported feeling the quake. Most said it felt like a strong, sudden jolt.

There have been no reports of any damage or injuries.
