Around 12:30 Wednesday afternoon sheriff's deputies responded to a home in the 8500 block of east Olive. A caller reported a toddler had fallen into a pool and was not breathing.
Deputies learned the toddler, along with another four year old, were playing in the front yard of the home while adults were working in and around the house.
The adults later found the toddler face down in a front yard fountain after being alerted by the other child. They immediately began CPR.
The toddler was taken to Children's Hospital and at last check was in critical condition.
