Local Agency hiring Vally residence affected by the drought

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A local agency is looking to hire Valley residents who are unemployed or working part-time as a result of the drought.

Proteus is looking to fill temporary five-month public service positions in Tulare, Kings, and Fresno Counties.

It's part of the "Temporary Employment Program" or TEP. Proteus says experience is a plus but training is available.

The non-profit organization provides: education, job training, job placement, and other support services to valley residents.
