Clovis police arrest three after stolen car pursuit

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Three people are in jail after Clovis police say they were caught in a stolen car, with a stolen gun.

Officers arrested Isaac Zepeda, Victor Mata and Julie Bascue.

Investigators say they were spotted in a stolen Ford Mustang convertible early this morning and led police on a pursuit up Highway 41. It ended when the driver tried to make a U-turn over a raised curb and got stuck.

Authorities say Zepeda was wearing body armor and carrying a loaded, stolen handgun in his waistband when he was caught.
