FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A 33-year-old woman was hospitalized after police say she crashed her car into a northeast Fresno home on Sunday night.

The crash happened just after 11 p.m. on Los Altos Avenue and 7th Street near Cedar and Herndon Avenues.

Fresno police say Lindsay Smith was driving westbound on Los Altos when she lost control of her car.

Smith hit another vehicle parked in the roadway before crashing into a house.

"She hit some of the trash, some of the debris that's in the roadway," said Fresno Police Sgt. Ezequiel Suarez.

Police say Smith had been doing donuts in the area before the crash.

Two people from inside the house pulled Smith out of the car and kept her at the scene. She was taken to Community Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.

Smith was cited for driving under the influence.
