Three men shot, gunman at large in East Central Fresno
Police are looking for the gunman who shot three people and ran away.

FRESNO, California (KFSN) -- Police are looking for the gunman who shot three people and ran away.

The incident happened around 9:15 p.m. Wednesday near Peach Avenue and Olive Avenue. Police say three men were standing outside an apartment complex and talking, when a man walked up to them and shot them. They were all rushed to the hospital, but are expected to be okay.

At this point, a motive is unknown and the shooter is still on the loose.

"The victims are cooperative, they're being interviewed by our detectives, and there is... several witnesses. To what extent each one saw the shooter, or the shooting, I'm not sure," said Lt. Ron Hughes, Fresno Police Department.

Detectives do not believe the shooting was gang-related at this time. They are looking for more witnesses who may have been in the area.
