Fresno Unified gives families and employees say on future academic calendar

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- If you have children who attend a Fresno Unified School, you can have a say on when the school year should start, how long Christmas break should last, and other scheduling matters.

Fresno Unified employees, parents, students, and community members can offer input on future academic calendar years by filling out an online survey.

The survey will be open through Wednesday, December 9th.

In the past, Fresno Unified has presented two years of academic calendars to the board of education. This year, Fresno Unified is considering presenting three years of calendars to allow for longer-term planning.
