KISS Country Radiothon raises money for The Children's Fund
MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- A big event for Children's Hospital Central California is now underway after kicking off just minutes ago.
For the next 3-days the facility will be raising money through your phone calls - and the help of Kiss County radio.
Radiothon runs on 93.7 KISS Country, in partnership with Children's Miracle Network. Donations go to "The Children's Fund," which funnels money into the patient care programs and services most in need.
93.7 KISS Country's Gnarley Charley and Jody Jo will kick off three days of fundraising, by broadcasting live from Children's Hospital. The station will dedicate more than 30 hours of programming to encourage listeners to call in donations. They're hoping to top last year's total of $246,000 in pledges.
Donations will go to The Children's Fund, which helps support patient services and programs throughout Children's Hospital.
