FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A Valley trainer is in the running to become Women's Health magazine's Next Fitness Star.

Dina Juve made it to the top five in the online competition out of thousands of applicants, and is featured on the magazine's latest cover. The 41-year-old is co-owner of Fitness Social in Northeast Fresno, where she does personal training and leads clients through various classes.

Juve says being in the top five in the competition is an honor, as she started her journey in the world of fitness 20 years ago. Since she's changed her lifestyle, she's lost 80 pounds and is hoping to inspire others.

"I just didn't even think I would be in the running, so it is a dream come true," said Juve. "I'm here for a reason. This pathway has opened so that I can help other women. I'm just excited about it."

If she wins, Juve will land a fitness DVD contract through Women's Health magazine. Voting runs through Aug. 1. Click here to cast your vote.
