Person behind Hidden Cash hunt promises Fresno visit

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The person who hid envelopes of cash in northern and southern California shifted his focus to the Valley this weekend.

The Twitter user @HiddenCash left five wads of money in Bakersfield for his social media followers to find. He said he decided to stop there on his way back to the Bay Area from Los Angeles.

Many Twitter users started taking jabs at the Kern County city, which Hidden Cash says only made his impulse to stop there stronger. He also hinted at another Valley visit, tweeting: "If I get positive feedback, we will be back in Bakersfield and in other overlooked cities in the Central Valley."

He even promised a Fresno visit to one person who replied, saying he almost stopped on Sunday but just didn't have time.
