Car slams into Chiquitos Mexican Food Restaurant in Visalia

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A car went careening through a Visalia restaurant on Friday, and thankfully no one was inside at the time because it's spring break. It happened around lunchtime at the Chiquitos Mexican Food Restaurant on Tulare Avenue and Mooney Boulevard.

The car took out a big portion of the restaurant, exposing some tables and chairs. The restaurant says the dining room is normally full of students from College of the Sequoias.

Two employees were working in the back when it happened. They were not hurt. The driver of the car is also OK.
