Firebaugh man arrested for Dos Palos area murder

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Sheriff's deputies say 30-year-old Francisco Zermeno shot and killed a man in Fresno County last week.

It happened at a home on Russell Avenue near Main Street, south of Dos Palos last week. Sheriff's investigators say Cal-Fire responded to a medical call at the home, but when firefighters arrived, they discovered a man lying on the ground with a gunshot wound.

That man died at the scene.
