Pallet of marijuana discovered at shipping company in Kettleman City

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Kings County Sheriff's Office seized about 160 pounds of marijuana found at a shipping company in Kettleman City.

Deputies say a pallet containing about $329-thousand worth of marijuana was discovered early Wednesday morning at Con-Way Express Shipping. The marijuana was bundled in individually wrapped one-pound packages. Also found on the pallet were 48 vapor smoking devices filled with concentrated hash oil.

Deputies say staff called to report the suspicious pallet after they discovered that the parcel did not have the appropriate amount of delivery postage. The shipment originated in Northern California and was headed to Texas.
