A reward for information leading to the arrest of a person shooting randomly at cars in Fresno County has more than doubled.

So far, ten shootings have been reported. The Fresno County Sheriff's Office announced Thursday it is offering a $3000 reward.

Friday an anonymous community member came forward to offer an additional 3,000 dollars. Another $1,000 was donated by the Fresno County Public Safety Association. Bringing the reward total to $7,000 dollars.

Two of the shooting incidents happened in Madera County and the rest on rural roads in Fresno County. The suspect vehicle is described as a dark-colored pickup with an extended or crew cab with oversized tires.

So far, only one woman was injured. The sheriff's office says the only way to claim the reward is by delivering your tip to Valley Crime Stoppers.
