3 people shot in Southwest Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- An investigation is underway after three people were shot in Southwest Fresno on Sunday.

Fresno police officers went to Stephens Avenue near Tuolumne Street around 6 p.m. after neighbors heard gunfire in the area. They found evidence of a crime scene, but no victims.

A short time later, Community Regional Medical Center staff reported three males were dropped off with gunshot wounds. Two of them are in critical condition, and the third is considered stable.

Detectives detained the driver who took the victims to the hospital for questioning. They're still piecing together exactly what happened and are trying to identify any possible suspects in this triple shooting.
