Part of Shaw in Northwest Fresno to close for railroad track work

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- If you're traveling in Northwest Fresno this week, be prepared to take a detour around part of Shaw Avenue.

Shaw will be closed between Golden State and Jennifer in both directions starting Monday morning. The section will be closed through Friday while crews make upgrades to the Union Pacific railroad tracks there.

Anyone driving through the area should plan alternate routes and be prepared for delays.
