Visalia revises public transportion plan

Some of the changes include additional stops at the Visalia Convention Center and Kaweah Delta Hospital. Fares will also be adjusted for senior citizens, going up from 60 years old to 65 and the price of a fixed one day fare will drop from $1.25 to 75 cents.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Visalia transit is making changes to some of its routes.

The changes go into effect Saturday.

Some of the changes include additional stops at the Visalia Convention Center and Kaweah Delta Hospital.

Routes will also include minor time changes for better weekday service.

Fares will also be adjusted for senior citizens, going up from 60 years old to 65, and the price of a fixed one day fare will drop from $1.25 to 75 cents.
