Visalia Police arrest man who is accused of burglarizing church then setting fire
Visalia Police have arrested 28-year-old Christopher Peterson for arson and several burglaries.

VISALIA, Calif. (KFSN) -- Visalia Police have arrested 28-year-old Christopher Peterson for arson and several burglaries.

Police said Peterson burglarized the Heart of the Valley church at Walnut and Woodland early Thursday morning then started a fire to cover it up.

They identified Peterson from surveillance video and arrested him several hours later. While following up, officers connected him with two other burglaries at the Heart of the Valley and the Woodland Drive Baptist Church.
