Homicide investigated in Woodlake

WOODLAKE, Calif. (KFSN) -- Woodlake police are investigating a homicide. Officers say it happened late Friday night, but they have not released any other details.

Several residents tell Action News it happened at a bar on Valencia and Naranjo boulevards. When our crew arrived there Saturday night, a detective was ushering people out of the business and posting a sign saying it's closed. The front window was boarded up, and there was shattered glass on the ground.

One witness who works nearby said he heard seven to eight shots. There's no word yet on the victim or possible suspects, but we'll bring you any updates as soon as we get them.
