Vince Ybarra
Vince Ybarra joined the Action News team as a general assignment reporter in January of 2023.

Before joining the ABC30 Action News team, Vince was a multimedia journalist, anchor, and producer at KYMA in Yuma, AZ. During his time there, he covered wildfires and environmental stories regarding the Salton Sea. He also covered a plane crash in Santee, CA, that left several dead, including a Yuma doctor. This led to the news team receiving an Emmy nomination.

Vince received his bachelor's degree in Journalism from California State University, Sacramento. He was born and raised in Sacramento, Calif. Vince is grateful to be closer to home.

When he isn't working, Vince likes checking out an art or live music scene, binge-watching the latest show on Netflix, or taking a day trip nearby.
