130 families to sue power company over fires

Nearly 130 families are suing over the devastating wildfires that ripped through San Diego last October.They accuse San Diego Gas and Electric of negligence, saying power lines sparked the Witch, Guejito, and Rice Canyon fires.

Those fires killed two people, burned 200,000 acres, and destroyed more than 1,200 homes.

A plaintiff's attorney says the families' losses could reach $50 million.

The utility is not commenting on the lawsuit.
