No Bids at Granite Park Auction

June 24, 2009 12:00:00 AM PDT
The rest of the troubled Granite Park development was auctioned off a short while ago in Northwest Fresno. This is after the Public House went up for auction earlier this month. And once again, no one showed up to place a single bid. Two weeks ago the Public House was auctioned off, but no one showed up to bid on it so it went back to its lender.

Wednesday morning, the rest of the retail complex, owned by Omni financial, was set up for an opening bid of $22.5-million dollars.

Part of the property auctioned off includes the new Edge nightclub which opened for one night last Friday.

Club owner Kirk Vartanian said the sale wouldn't affect his club at all.
