Dave Hawk Trial - Day 2 of Jury Deliberations

Fresno, CA A District Attorney Investigator was seen bringing in a CD-player and a laptop so the jurors could listen to several interviews that were played during the Dave Hawk murder trial.

Dave Hawk is accused of killing his ex-wife Debbie in June 2006 after prosecutors said she discovered he was stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars out of their children's trust funds.

The jurors could have listened to a conversation between Dave Hawk's girlfriend Mary Royer and Police, a short Police interview with Dave and Debbie's 17-year old daughter Chelsea, and a secret Police- recorded conversation between Dave Hawk and his friend, Keith Marshall.

Attorneys speculated as to how the recordings may be playing into the jury's deliberations.

Mark Coleman, Dave Hawk's Attorney said: "It's impossible to tell what's most important we think it's probably Keith Marshall because that's the only time the jury got to hear from Dave."

Larry Crouch, Prosecutor said: "Our sense of it is that the audio recordings all relate to the homicide count and apparently they've moved on beyond the financials but anything we say about juries is a guess and we just don't know"

There are about 14,000 pages of evidence, more than 100 photos and even more evidence for the jury to look through, if they want.

The third day of deliberations will begin Friday morning at 9am.
