Every 30 minutes hand washing tips are broadcast in three different languages across the fair grounds. There are even crews whose only job is to refill soap and sanitizer dispensers.

The Fresno County Health Department held a display for kids, teaching them proper hand washing techniques. Fair goers are encouraged to wash their hands before eating, and after leaving the livestock area.

Health officials recommend if you are sick or have a fever it's always best to stay home.
