Severe weather that spawned several tornadoes in Nebraska and Iowa has complicated travel plans for Fresno State's baseball team as they headed to Omaha for the College World Series Wednesday night. The team's flight had to be diverted to Lincoln, Nebraska due to the severe weather.Fresno State Sports Information Director Steve Weakland said the flight was quite bumpy, but they were glad to be on the ground. Team officials are now working to arrange transportation to Omaha.

This same storm system triggered a tornado that hit a Boy Scout camp in Little Sioux, Iowa. There are at least four fatalities at the camp and several injuries as well.
