"I don't think she even realizes how great it is because she's never had it. She's never ever had a bathroom that she could get into easily, she's never been in some rooms in her old house because her wheelchair wouldn't fit," said Ruth Hutchison with Easter Seals.
Hutchison said there won't be a dry eye during that "Move That Bus" moment for the Riojas family.
Mary Ann Riojas credits Easter Seals with her very first wheelchair, her first job, and even nominating her for the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition show. Easter Seals provides services for children and adults with disabilities or other special needs. Her friends said finally having a home that fits Mary Ann's needs will be life-changing.
